about

Making ambient, peaceful meditation music has been something I've been passionate about for a long time. I have regularly performed at yoga events, retreats and open days for various schools. I have made a lot of meditation music for others including healers, teachers and yoga practitioners.
The source of this for me has been making it for myself. To soothe myself and to, in some ways, support healing. Being a performer all my life has meant making a lot of music to try and survive or be recognised but most days usually start with a session that is none of that, just pure relaxing and listening which is the basis of all my music.
There are many out there who claim a particular practise or ritual or chant or sound or movement or rite will affect you and this may be true and I know of many that have good intentions and achieve results. A lot of them use music and sound to do so. There are many sounds and theories that hypothesise the ideas of sound and vibration like solfeggio frequencies, binaural beats, chant and prayer, the medicine man, the Shaman, the Icarus, The Hare Krishna, The Corroboree the list goes on.
Rock n Roll, Techno, Celtic Patterns, Reggae and Chopin have been my best medicines, steeped in voodoo and folk-lore. These "mainstream" song lines are sometimes often overlooked for their "medicinal" qualities.
Here, I present my "MasterPeace" not really any of the above, it's my freeform, source music. My own personal sound farm.
It works for me and always has. It doesn't really have an agenda, or a format or form. It doesn't really belong to any one tribe or way. That's what I like about it, I can trust it in a world of decoy's and brandings.
I hope you will enjoy it too. The money I get from these recordings is kept seperate from my other incomes and I use it to simply make more, perform the music at places that feel right (usually for free) record more fabulous sounds in nature and promote the goodness of it to a wider audience. So, if you can't quite manage the idea of paying for it, please stream it, share it, use it and love it - Let me know where and how as it warms my heart. If you can afford to pay for it, even better! It will help me along the way. Lots of love. Sam Joole.
